Resilience Process Model.png

The Resilience Process Model illustrates an evidence-based approach to understanding crisis and resilience: (a) Anticipating--all that exists prior to the triggering event or condition, (b) Sense-losing--the process following the triggering event that represents disequilibrium from the event or condition, (c) Improvising--the process of creatively reconfiguring the past to meet the current demands, (d)  Sense-remaking--the process of refining the new narrative(s) for moving forward, and (e) Renewing--the process in which lessons learned are incorporated into the new cosmology and approach.
